Cars have gotten so much powerful and capable in the last 25 years it’s not even funny. Let’s hope the M8 is cheaper and easier to service.

You'd also have to strap an Elise to the roof of the F1 to match the weight of the M8.

I remember thinking the same thing when the C6 s urpassed the F1... 10 YEARS AGO! At that was a sports car, now sedans and even SUVs have more power!

I completely
agree. I just think the M8-F1 comparison is especially cool given that they have the same exact number
of horsepower
and they’re both BMW engines.
The Hellcat Redeye horsepower/dollar ratio is insane and the top end Camry has the same number of horsepower as a Ferrari 250 GTO. We’re living in an age of unimaginable
performance.
